Partial Panama Canal Tour. This tour allows tourists to experience the partial transit of the Panama Canal on board of a boat, embarking at Flamengo Marina at Amador Causeway, passing through Panama Bay, the America’s Bridge, Panama Canal’s Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks, Centennial Bridge, Culebra’s Cut and disembarking at Gamboa Dredging Division of the Panama Canal. Tourists will learn about the history, construction, operation topography and maintenance of the Canal.
Casco Antiguo (Old Quarter). It is a world heritage site and the place where Panama City was relocated in 1673 after the British pirate Henry Morgan destroyed the original city in 1671. It is a historical area full of old-style colonial and French architecture buildings, including the Presidential Palace, several government ministries, national museum, Panama Canal Museum, ruins of colonial churches, among others. It is also a good place to buy souvenirs. Duration: 1:30 hr.
